Beshar appointing even a part-time Democrat to the Senate (One who can actually run as an incumbent), and they damn sure don’t want anti-establishment Thomas Massie mucking up the primary, perhaps as the GOP candidate, perhaps as an Independent, truly throwing what should have been an easy baton pass to Rep. Andy Barr into chaos.
