“Can you add three entrées to go?”

He blinked. “To go?”

“Yes,” I said. “The ribeye, the filet, and the salmon. Please add them to this table’s bill.”

A short silence.

Then he nodded.

“Of course.”

And walked away.

No questions asked.

When she came back, the check arrived almost immediately.
